Piper has worked in the field of archaeology in Queensland and Northern
New South Wales for over thirty years. He has an extensive and detailed
knowledge of Aboriginal Cultural Heritage issues throughout the region.
This experience ensures that Indigenous heritage issues are dealt with
in a practical and sensitive manner. Adrian has had a long experience in
working with the Aboriginal Land Councils of the region, both in the
field and in the joint formulation of management recommendations to
conserve and protect Aboriginal sites. He is therefore, particularly
well equipped to provide heritage assessments to local governments,
Aboriginal organisations and business, which will meet the interests of
clients and legislative requirements.
Adrian is also well qualified to provide archaeology services.
In addition to his demonstrable experience he has a graduate and post
graduate degree (Bachelor of Letters- Prehistory/Archaeology) from the
University of New England. He has provided numerous archaeological
assessments to companies and local government authorities. Each study
has involved the field and written support of the relevant Local
Aboriginal Land Council or Aboriginal Party.
