In 2013, Everick in association with Dr Thom Blake, undertook a historic and archaeological study of sea baths constructed in the 1880's. The project involved historic research and subsequent excavation of two bath sites for the Bancroft family. Preliminary investigations were completed to establish if evidence for the former Bancroft Meat Canning Works remained within the site.
Everick and Dr Thom Blake's findings concluded that Bath no.1 was the bath Jospeh Bancroft had built for his wife Anne. Questions still remain about when and why Bath no.2 was constructed. The excavation of Apex Park revealed that no substantial material evidence of the meat canning work survives.
