Charlie is currently completing his PhD at the University of
Queensland. His research focuses on establishing and identifying changes in the
range of plant species utilised by pre-modern Sub-Saharan populations in
Africa. Charlie has worked extensively on excavations in Africa, Europe and
more recently Australia. He is a research member of a large multi-institution
project run by the Max Planck Institute for the Science of Human History.
Charlie has undertaken cultural heritage surveys and excavations with Everick, as well as being involved with Aboriginal stakeholder engagement, report production and research.
