Courtney Culley earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with an extended major in Archaeology and minor in Anthropology from the University of Queensland. She completed her Honours thesis which explored Asian Mammal Extinctions: From the Pleistocene to Modern Conservation Issues. In November 2015, Courtney won an award for the best honours paper at the University of Queensland's Postgraduate Conference.
Whilst studying and upon completion of her Honours, Courtney volunteered on numerous international archaeological excavations. Some of these projects include Boncuklu Hoyuk Turkey, Buffalo Creek Oklahoma, Pinnacle Point South Africa, Knysa South Africa, Waterfall Bluff South Africa and Burg Ranis Germany. Courtney also has experience in laboratory work and online cataloguing.
Courtney joined Everick in 2017, assisting with archaeological fieldwork.
