Unlike many States in Australian, the Northern Territory does not have a legislated heritage due diligence process. However, effective cultural heritage due diligence can be critical to determining project risks, timeframes and costs.  Everick undertakes both desktop and on site due diligence assessments. Our team uses a combination of high resolution satellite imagery, historic aerial photography, archaeological research and landowner consultation to establish the level of previous ground disturbance and the subsequent risk to cultural heritage. We then create detailed mapping of ground disturbance over time, and overlay this information onto our archaeological models for the Project.
