Senior Archaeologist, Archaeological Survey and Excavation, DOC and Due Diligence Assessments, Impact Assessments and Community Consultation. Operating in the Northern Territory.

Delyna joined Everick in 2013 and operates through our Northern Territory office. With strong research interests in Indigenous Heritage and Social Justice issues, Delyna has a passion for Australian archaeology and heritage management.

Having graduated from the University of New England in 2005 with a duel degree in Archaeology and Palaeoanthropology, Delyna has since obtained a Masters of Applied Laws with a specialty in Dispute Resolution and Aboriginal Law from the University of Queensland in 2009 and is now currently completing her PhD. Throughout her career, Delyna has participated in all aspects of heritage management including consultation, archaeological fieldwork, ethnographic research and the drafting of legal documents pertaining to heritage management.

Delyna’s extensive and comprehensive working relationship with Indigenous Australians provides a valuable contribution to the team. Her working knowledge of the archaeological, anthropological and historical sites throughout Northern and Central Australia and her contacts within the Indigenous community make her a valuable and uniquely qualified heritage practitioner.
