GIS and Remote Sensing

Everick Heritage Consultants are able to provide GIS and remote sensing services as an integral part of Cultural Heritage Management. The majority of our projects include high quality cartographic map design, data capture and management as well as aerial photography and remote sensing interpretation of project area and/or site disturbance over time.

In addition, we offer more sophisticated analyses that utilise the ability of GIS to incorporate both geographical data (locations) with attribute data (information about artefacts, sites or environments). These analyses include predictive modelling, cost path analysis and spatial analysis such as clustering, proximity, orientation, intervisibility and spatial patterning. We also are also able to interpret different types of remotely sensed imagery (high resolution optical, radar and LiDAR) as they each have distinct advantages in site identification and mapping.
