Pauline Fowler

Archaeologist / GIS

Pauline completed her Honours Class I degree in Archaeology in 2018 at the University of Queensland. Her research studied the distribution of archaeological shell material on North Stradbroke Island, through the application of GIS spatial modelling, to predict Late Holocene Aboriginal movement patterns across the interior of the island. Pauline previously completed a Bachelor of Arts in Archaeology (Major) and Anthropology and Indigenous Studies (Minors) at the University of Southern Queensland in 2016.

Pauline joined Everick in early 2015, and since then has acquired skills in ArcGIS data management, geoprocessing and spatial analyst/modelling; Duty of Care compliance; legislative requirements (Queensland and New South Wales); archaeological survey and excavations; artefact identification; historical significance assessments; community consultation procedures; report writing; and the preparation of cultural heritage management plans. Recently, Pauline has begun to explore her interests in the applications of new technologies within the cultural heritage management field, developing photogrammetry models of stone artefacts, archaeological features and landscapes, with both fix cameras and remotely piloted aircrafts (drones).

Pauline brings to Everick a dynamic and professional approach allows her to have the capacity to provide our clients with the highest level of service. Her highly organised and versatile approach has seen her excel in the logistical aspects of her role with Everick.
