Director / Principals

  • Director

    As Everick’s Director, Tim has supervised over a thousand heritage projects, supplying his professional project management expertise and skills in stakeholder engagement and negotiations. As well as a first-class honours degree in archaeology, Tim has also been admitted to practice as a solicitor and specialises in cultural heritage and native title statutory compliance.

  • Principal - QLD

    James oversees and undertakes significant and complex projects for government, mining, and residential sectors throughout Queensland. He brings extensive experience in cultural heritage to the team having worked in Queensland, New South Wales, Northern Territory, and South Australia over the last thirteen years. James manages Everick’s Queensland team.

  • Principal - Research

    Dr Serena Love in an archaeologist with a speciality in geoarchaeology. She has broad experience in heritage management projects across Queensland, specialising particularly in providing technical advice to Aboriginal groups for a variety of projects including National Parks management, infrastructure and mining projects. Serena heads the Everick Foundation, facilitating research, outreach and community engagement.

  • Principal - Geospatial

    Patrick is Everick Heritage’s GIS lead. Patrick has experience as a GIS / Spatial Data Analyst, preparing and analysing various types of data in countries including Australia, New Caledonia, Tibet, Philippines, The Solomon Islands, Mongolia, Africa, Iraq, South East Asia, Uganda and Algeria.

  • Principal - Research

    Richard has over 40 years’ experience in Australian archaeology and Museum Curatorship. Prior to establishing Everick in 2003, Richard was Senior Curator of Archaeology and Anthropology at the Qld Museum. He has an M.A. (University of Qld) and a Ph.D. (Griffith University). He has extensive field experience from throughout Qld, N.S.W and Northern Territory. He has published in the areas of archaeology, ethnoarchaeology, history, taphonomy, cultural heritage management and museology. He has authored or co-authored 19 book chapters and 48 papers or articles, 32 of them in refereed journals.

  • Chief Financial Officer

    Evelyn has been involved in the company since its inception and has over 40 years in senior management and CFO roles. She brings to Everick her experience in management of large and diverse organisations, financial administration, accounting and company secretarial, risk management and corporate governance. This experience together with Richard’s archaeological and anthropological experience and Tim’s legal, archaeological and heritage management experience provides a very strong base for Everick as it continues to grow.

  • Office Administrator

    Lyn has over 30 years’ experience within the finance and administration fields. She overseas the administration team and handles accounts receivable and administration duties, whilst working closely alongside our CFO adhering to the company’s Quality Management System.

  • Brisbane head office is base to majority of the Everick team. As an Australia wide company, Brisbane Principals are able to draw on the diverse specialist skills of our broad staff base across the country to best deliver your heritage project.

  • Everick provide cultural heritage management service of the highest standard. We foster and maintain close relationships with stakeholders, Aboriginal communities, businesses, educational facilities, industry and government.

  • Remains dating to the contact period between Europeans and First Nations People, or after European settlement in Australia are classified as historic heritage. Our team assesses artefacts and complete or partial structures.

Foundation Services

  • Everick offer support and capacity building within the fields of archaeology and heritage management to Aboriginal groups. We believe Australia’s pre-historic cultural heritage future is Aboriginal led. We love sharing our skills to build capacity of Aboriginal groups to manage their heritage data independently within present legislation and systems.

  • Everick provides presentations and hands-on workshops on the topics of archaeology. We believe that learning is a mutual exchange of knowledge and experience and archaeology belongs to everyone.

  • At Everick we challenge the future of heritage. We collaborate with heritage organisations, societies, and communities in the field of archaeology and heritage. We assist in oral histories recording and contribute to academic publications and presentations.
