The Project

In this project, Everick Heritage serves as the primary cultural heritage advisor for the Brisbane Metro Project.  The proposed works involve the construction of a Metro line which extends across 21 km of existing busways in the heart of Brisbane’s CBD with extensions into peripheral suburbs. The works have uncovered historic heritage sites connected with the city’s rich convict histories. Everick Heritage works with Architectus to coordinate the excavation, recording and salvage of these convict era sites across four precincts.
