The Role
You'll work alongside experienced heritage professionals on a diverse range of projects across Australia. Depending on your background and interests, you may be involved in archaeological surveys and excavations, built heritage assessments, heritage impact statements, or heritage interpretation projects. You'll gain exposure to both Aboriginal cultural heritage and historical heritage work, with opportunities to develop specialist expertise over time.
What We Expect
We're looking for someone who brings curiosity, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to heritage practice. You should be comfortable working in the field, often in remote locations and varying weather conditions, as well as producing quality written work in the office. You'll need to manage your time effectively, communicate clearly with team members and clients, and approach all work, particularly with Aboriginal communities, with cultural sensitivity and respect.

Essential Skills and Qualifications
Relevant degree in archaeology, heritage studies, architecture, history, or a related discipline
Strong written communication skills
Current driver's licence
Ability to undertake fieldwork, including in remote areas
Eligibility to work in Australia
