Projects
Everick Heritage provides specialised services which aid in the Indigenous-led management of cultural heritage across Queensland.
This work includes providing advice on highly technical components of cultural heritage management.
This project included the preparation of a Cultural Heritage Management Plan in advance of rail line upgrades near the Beaufort Rail Station on Wadawurrung Country.
This project included the preparation of a Cultural Heritage Management Plan in advance of public park upgrades to the Healesville Freeway Reserve on Wurundjeri Country.
Everick Heritage prepared a Statement of Heritage Impact and Historical Archaeological Assessment to facilitate approvals for works to construct a new high school on the site.
Everick Heritage lead the preparation of collections management policies and procedures for accession, deaccession and cataloguing, including extensive liaison with Council bodies and stakeholders.
Working in an area of high cultural sensitivity and heritage significance, we completed an analysis and review of built heritage, including remnant wharf structures, monuments, shelters and retaining wall features.
For over two and half years, Everick Heritage has worked with the project team to assess the potential impacts on Aboriginal heritage in the corridor of a proposed wind farm at Wilan, near Balranald.
Everick Heritage was engaged to undertake reporting requirements for proposed upgrades at the school, which was identified as being in a highly sensitive area for Aboriginal objects.
While preparing a Development Application, the client was informed by the Council that they had a record of an Aboriginal site being located within the project area and an ACHAR would be required.
Everick Heritage provided technical advice to the Yuggera Ugarapul People across various stages of the Providence Ripley Project.
Everick Heritage serves as the primary cultural heritage advisor for the Brisbane Metro Project. The works uncovered historic heritage sites.
Everick Heritage provided technical advice to the Barunggam People during the early stages of the Wambo Wind Farm Project. The proposed project consisted of a multi-stage renewable infrastructure program.
Everick Heritage provided technical advice during the preliminary and planning stages of the Kumbarilla Solar Farm Project, encompassing approximately 200 ha of land within the Western Downs Region.
Everick’s DDA provided Optus with technical heritage advice, including a comprehensive legislative review, GIS mapping and predictive modelling and heritage management recommendations.
Everick Heritage and Nyikina Mangala People have pioneered a cutting-edge Indigenous cultural mapping initiative, combining Traditional Knowledge with modern geospatial technology.
Everick has partnered with Rio Tinto on multiple projects, seconding up to fifteen archaeologists to the Traditional Owner Partnership and Resource Development teams.
