The Project

While preparing a Development Application for a new boat shed and ramp, the client was informed by the Council that they had a record of an Aboriginal site being located within the project area and an ACHAR would be required. Everick Heritage was engaged and identified that an Aboriginal art site had been incorrectly recorded on the Aboriginal Heritage Information Management System (AHIMS) database and that previous investigations had located it within a rock shelter within the lot boundary. We guided the client through the compliance process to achieve a successful outcome.
