The Project
Everick Heritage serves as technical advisor to a wide variety of Traditional Owner groups across Queensland. This involves the provision of specialised services which aid in the Indigenous-led management of cultural heritage across the state. These include providing advice on highly technical components of cultural heritage management such as desktop and field surveys, site assessments, archaeological excavations, data collection, storage and management, heritage reporting and community-led research. This is complimented by capacity-building services such as training workshops, which are designed to build the technical capacity of Indigenous communities and support their evolving aspirations. Our advisory services also encompass a compliance component, in which we assist with monitoring proponents’ legislative compliance with relevant statutory frameworks and heritage management agreements, across numerous industries. These include, but are not limited to, the coal seam gas, renewable energy (including solar and wind projects), infrastructure, mining and property development industries.
