The Project

For over two and half years, Everick Heritage has worked with the project team to assess the potential impacts on Aboriginal heritage in the corridor of a proposed wind farm at Wilan, near Balranald. Working alongside Aboriginal groups, over 200 Aboriginal archaeological sites have been identified, recorded and registered with the Aboriginal Heritage Information Management System. Subsequently, Everick Heritage collaborated with the wider project team on design revisions, safeguarding Aboriginal sites and removing impacts – a great heritage outcome.
